REPORT: André Gomes could be Pogba's heir at Juve

22 March at 10:10
Juventus and Napoli are not fighting only for the scudetto, but also on the transfer market: the Serie A defending champions have in fact overtaken the azzurri in the hunt for Valencia midfielder André Gomes.
The Portugal international –who was very close to a transfer to Naples during the last transfer windows- is one of the bianconeri’s main targets for the replacement of Paul Pogba.
Physically strong and tactically ductile, the 23-year-old can play both as a wingback and as an attacking midfielder, and has impressed the Piedmont’s team boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Gomes has four more years on his contract with the Taronges and costs about €35 million. Moreover, his agent is the notorious Jorge Mendes, who could decide to bring him to a club like Manchester United.
