Revealed: Cagliari set price-tag for starlet wanted by Chelsea, Inter and Milan

According to what has been reported by the Corriere della Sera today, Cagliari have set an asking price for midfield starlet Nicolo Barella - who has been named as a transfer target for Chelsea, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli - amongst mild interest from others.

The reports from the Italian paper suggest that Cagliari's asking price for the young Italian is €50m - a figure which can be lowered through the use of part-exchange 'counterparts' in the offer. Chelsea have reportedly prepared a €40m offer for the youngster, with Maurizio Sarri said to be a big fan of the Italian under-21 international.

However, Barella may decide that he prefers to stay in Italy; in which case Inter Milan and AC Milan will likely be the destinations - as both clubs are in need of central midfield reinforcements.
