River-Boca clashes, Maradona hits out at Argentina President

Former Napoli star Diego Armando Maradona is not impressed with what is going on in Argentina ahead of River Plate-Boca Juniors.

The return leg of the Copa Libertadores final has been postponed as fans of River attacked the team bus of Boca Juniors causing several injuries among Boca players and technical team.

Maradona, a die-hard Boca fans, spoke to Argentinean media and could not hold his disappointment: “What happened is a shame”, Maradona said.

“The President tricked his own people saying that he would have changed the situation. But now the situation is worse than what it used to be. What [Argentina President] Macrì is doing is the worst thing ever. There are robberies everywhere, but this is the change that people voted for.”

The game between River and Boca has been postponed to tonight but Boca do not want to play the game tonight as sone of their players have been hit by stones thrown to the team bus by River fans.
