Roberto Mancini demands a more clinical Inter despite victory at Frosinone

Roberto Mancini talked to Mediaset Premium after Inter’s 1-0 win to Frosinone.

“We played a great game. Winning here is never easy, Frosinone have been playing some amazing matches at home this season.”

“We could finish the first half winning 2-0. The ref disallowed a goal which was good and even if we suffered in the second half, we were always in control of the game.”

“I hope everyone can help us to earn as much points as possible, everyone will be important not only Jovetic. Eder was about to enter, but Icardi scored before, so I made different choices.”

Mancini has also released a post-match interview with Sky Sport Italia

“We should be more clinical and learn how to kill off games. Criticisms to our style of play are funny. Truth is, we play good games, but we are unable to finish them off.”

“Our opponents hit the woodwork twice from set pieces, I think we can allow that.”
Icardi can still improve a lot, he’s young but he has always scored goals.”

“You only know players when you coach them, not when you buy them. You need to see if they are adaptable to the league.”

“Our budget for next season will be rich”, he added before leaving the interview with a mild smile.

Is that the good news all Inter fans wanted to hear or is Roberto Mancini just bluffing?
