Two new names have appeared on Roma’s radar as they look to strengthen the side before the end of the transfer window. The first of which is Leo Pereira, a 23-year-old Brazillian defender currently playing for Athletico Paranaense. This would be an important signing for Fonseca and his side as their choices in defence are limited. The second name is of Dries Mertens, the 32-year-old forward currently at Napoli. Roma’s attacking depth is low and Mertens would be a key addition to the squad.
