There is a new name in the frame for the role of Roma’s new sporting director, that of Gianluca Petrachi.

Petrachi has been the Torino sporting director for ten years, and is on the shortlist of candidates to replace Monchi, who left the club just two seasons after his arrival. As we read in La Stampa, the idea is part of a possible restructuring / revolution that President James Pallotta has in mind. Urbano Cairo's right-hand man, who has a contract with the Turin club until 2020, has already been contacted by the Giallorossi, but the answer seems not to have arrived yet.
