Roma, Ranieri: 'De Rossi? I wanted to keep him for the Parma game...'

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri spoke to DAZN after the Sassuolo-Roma 0-0 game, here is what he had to say on the matter:

"We tried to score up until the very end but we had to be more clinical with our chances. We created the chances but we lacked luck. Biggest regret? Not getting the three points. We have a good team but we made too many mistakes this year. Sassuolo? We knew that they had a good team and we knew that it wasn't going to be an easy game for us. De Rossi? I didn't want to put him in. I wanted to preserve him for next week when we face-off against Parma. This will be his game and his party. I invite all the Roma fans to be present to support Daniele. Pastore? I put him on since I wanted to have more quality on the pitch. Roma's future? Well Roma will certainly have a strong base going forward. Let's see what kind of transfer market the Roma management decide to do...'. More to come...
