Roma: Santon surplus to requirements, interested in Spanish side

According to Teleradiostereo, 28-year-old Italian left back Davide Santon is no longer part of the plans at Roma. Coach Paulo Fonseca hasn’t been convinced by the former Inter man and has decided that he’s not important to his project in the capital. Santon moved from Milan to Rome last summer along with Nicolò Zaniolo as part of a swap deal with Radja Nainggolan. The player is interested in joining newly promoted Spanish club RCD Mallorca.
