Once the role of the coach-player was in fashion, today it seems that Cristiano Ronaldo is both a player and the sporting director of Juventus. This needs to be taken with a grain of salt, obviously, however, CR7 is in contact with several players who he would like at the club by his side.

As revealed by Lothar Matthäus, CR7 is in contact with his former teammate James Rodriguez who is looking for his next destination after a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich. However, at the moment, the Colombian's move to Napoli seems more likely, The player is in constant contact with coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Another former Real Madrid teammate with whom CR7 would like to play again is Marcelo. The Brazilian could leave the Santiago Bernabeu after the arrival of Mendy and Ronaldo is pushing to bring the Brazilian to Continassa and has been doing so already since last winter. In the case of Alex Sandro's departure, Marcelo could become a hot name for the Bianconeri.

But CR7 has his influence also on the field. After the match against the Netherlands in the Nations League final, he told Matthijs de Ligt to come to Juventus. The Dutchman said he was 'surprised' by Ronaldo's request. However, in this direction, the biggest obstacle is PSG, who are offering 15 million euros per season to the Ajax super talent.

And speaking of super talents, how can one forget Joao Felix. The Portuguese is already playing in the national team with Ronaldo and would like to repeat the experience at club level.

Jorge Mendes has refused the extension offered by Benfica that would increase the release clause from 120 million euros to 200 million. The powerful agent wants Joao Felix to move immediately to a top club and Juve would be a good solution, which Ronaldo already told him. However, attention must be paid to the competition of Atletico Madrid, with reports in Spain that Simeone's side are close to signing the Portuguese starlet.
