In a day of great controversy over the refereeing and use of VAR in Serie A, Mediaset journalist Maurizio Pistocchi took stock of the situation, stressing several mistakes made by referees as well as poking Juventus's star Cristiano Ronaldo with a picture of the top scorer table in Serie A and a caption: "I correct it: in the top scorer table WITHOUT PENALTIES, the best is A. Milik, with 10 goals in 16 matches (0.62 average), 2. F. Quagliarella, 11 goals in 18 matches (0.61 average), 3. K.Piatek, 11 goals in 19 matches (0.57), 4. CR7, 10 goals in 19 matches (0.52)."
