Rummenigge warns Arsenal: 'Alexis Sanchez has already chosen his next club'

Bayern Munich are being linked with welcoming the services of Alexis Sanchez but Arsenal refused to sell the Chile International last summer despite the player’s contract expires at the end of the season.

TheBavarians’ CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge, however, has played down reports linking Bayern with a move for Sanchez. The former Germany International, however, revealed that the player has already chosen his next club.

"I think Sanchez has already decided which club [to join], so I suppose that the door will be closed in January," Rummenigge told Sky Germany (via Idowa.de). “ We will not be ready and we will not be able to spend crazy money on his transfer. We have other ideas which could be as good but not as much expensive.”

"That’s not an issue, and he is no direct substitute for Robert Lewandowski as he is not a real centre forward."
