Serie A review: Sassuolo-AC Milan 0-2, the player ratings as Bonucci and Suso excelled

AC Milan took on Sassuolo today as the rossoneri came away with a big 2-0 win. Coach Vincenzo Montella's position was in heavy doubt going into the game but with the victory, he will surely now stay on for the time being. This was a pretty solid performance from Milan as they kept a clean sheet and were able to get a few goals too against Sassuolo. With the win, AC Milan are now in seventh place with 19 points out of 12 games.

The game started off very slowly for the first 30 minutes or so but then Milan picked things up. They had a few good chances including a Kalinic miss but they then finally broke the deadlock moments later thanks to Alessio Romagnoli. Milan controlled the tempo well as Suso then ended the game off in the second half. The rossoneri still need to improve a lot but this win will certainly boost their confidence.
