M’Baye Niang is in the form of his life at AC Milan. The Frenchman is getting regular game time and is finally becoming the devastating winger that Adriano Galliani predicted to see when he signed him from Caen in 2012.

Niang has three goals and as much assists in eight games so far this season and is set to sign a contract extension with the San Siro outfit.

Our reporter Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned the details of his new contract. Niang’s current agreement expires in 2019, but the 21-year-old striker should put pen to paper on a new two-year contract extension with his new deal expiring in 2021.

Niang’s new salary will be around € 2 million a year plus bonuses linked to personal and squad objectives. The Frenchman is expected to pen the new deal a few weeks after the official closing of the Chinese consortium that is set to buy a majority stake in the club.
