Spalletti: 'PSV match my most important with Inter. Nainggolan is out'

On the eve of the decisive Champions League matchup against PSV, Luciano Spalletti spoke to the media in a press conference.

"London and Turin are two difficult venues. Against Juventus we played on par, I find differences in matches against Parma and Atalanta, where we have not maintained our level. Against Juventus and Tottenham, you can lose and it must be accepted," he said.

"Icardi? I do not see a problem with him. It is all within regulations, which allow you to go and see a game as well as go to dinner. He was with his wife to see a show.

"Barcelona's match? The team did what they had to do. If we are struggling to qualify, this is the reality. If a the beginning, when there was the draw, they would have told me: 'You will play against PSV at home for qualification, while Tottenham will play in Barcelona', what would I tell you? We have seen that it was a very hard group and now we are playing for qualification in the last match, which will be the most important in my Inter career.

"Perisic? I know the attention goes to gestures such as goals and assists, but there are also recoveries in defence, facts of strength, speed and physicality. But I am not here only for substitutions, I also choose the tactics and starters, but this does not interest you.

"Vecino and Nainggolan? Vecino will probably not be available, while Nainggolan had another test early in the week and needs a few days. We will evaluate it and will try to further study this problem. That of Vecino seems difficult to solve," Spalletti concluded.
