Tottenham-Liverpool: tops and flops after first half

  • Lorenzo Bettoni
Tottenham are winning against Liverpool at half time with goals came courtesy of Harry Kane and Son. Liverpool managed to score one with Mo Salah and the Reds are now hoping to leave Wembley with at least one point in their suitcases.

These are the tops and flops of the first half.

TOPS
HARRY KANE (Tottenham) –
Scores the opener and provides the assist for Son who scores the second goal for the Spurs. Most threatening player for Liverpool and their defence, creates all sport of troubles.

SON (Tottenham) – He is not a simple winger, he is almost as a support striker who plays close to Kane. The Korean star netted the 2-0 for Spurs and did also hit the cross-bar which would have made it 3-0 for Pochettino’s side.

MO SALAH (Liverpool) – Liverpool thought to be back in the game mainly thanks to his goal, he is the most dangerous Liverpool player but Dele Alli’s goal seem to have closed the game again.

FLOPS
HUGO LLORIS AND SERGE AURIER (Tottenham) – Both to be blamed for Mo Salah’s goal.

DEJAN LOVREN (Liverpool) – So terrible that Klopp has to replace him in the middle of the first half. The first two goals of Tottenham are his responsibility.

JOEL MATIP (Liverpool) – His side did manage to re-open the game but his involuntary assist for Dele Alli ruins the Reds’ game.
