Totti calls Conte to AS Roma while a disappointed Pallotta is thinking of selling the club

AS Roma are living one of the worst seasons of the last 10 years. 21 injuries, young players who struggle to impose themselves, a coach in difficulty and an absent president are not helping the bad situation. Giallorossi’s target at the start of the season was to compete with Juventus and qualify for the next Champions League.

Now, they are 6th in Serie A, continuing to collect anonymous performances. Pallotta’s strategy of delegating all the aspects of his club is not working: one day is Monchi’s fault, another of Di Francesco, the one after of the players and sometimes it’s even fault of the referees.

The fact is that, for one reason or another, all the money spent on directors, wages and footballers are not giving the expected results and that's why the president is seriously thinking of giving up AS Roma, exasperated by a team that do not reach good results and by a stadium project that does not seem to start.

Even the supporters are worried. They have already in their mind how to solve this situation: a change on the bench. Their dream has one name, Antonio Conte. Some rumors, which at the moment are not confirmed, reports that Totti already called the former Chelsea coach in order to convince him to accept Roma’s bench.

However, now Monchi continues to trust Di Francesco, but it will be necessary to understand in a second moment how much Pallotta will trust his sports director. Indeed, Monchi is another one who could soon leave AS Roma.
