Inter remains attentive on the full-back market. The continuing physical problems put the redemption of Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid into doubt, as the Nerazzurri can buy the player on a permanent basis for 17.5 million euros at the end of the season, with 6.5 million already paid for the loan last summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport , Vrsaljko's problems have led sporting director Ausilio to return on the trail of Matteo Darmian, whose contract with Manchester United expires in June. The former Torino man wants to return to Italy, with Napoli and Roma also interested, alongside Valencia and Atletico in Spain.
