Two defenders on Juve and Barça agenda: Blaugrana fear Raiola strategy

According to what has been reported by the Italian press today, Barcelona have joined Juventus in the race for Jean-Clair Todibo, the 18-year-old French centre-back currently playing for Toulouse in Ligue 1.

This comes as the Bianconeri seek to accelerate their move for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt and Barcelona seemingly move further and further away from a deal for the Dutch wonderkid.

Barca have therefore turned their attention to Todibo; afraid of De Ligt’s agent, Mino Raiola, and his strategy that could see him use strong relations with Juventus to encourage his client to move to Turin.

Barcelona have signed Valencia defender Murillo on loan and therefore have themselves covered in the short-term, yet they will be looking around in January at potential youngsters to bring to the team. For now, Juve accelerate for De Ligt and the race for Todibo is wide open.
