Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Real Sociedad’s young right-back Alvaro Odriozola, after having anticipated his rise to prominence since his days as a starlet, reports Marca.

The 21-year-old recently made his debut for the Spanish senior national side under Julen Lopetegui and has caught the eyes of many due to his impressive performances down the right-flank for the San Sebastian based outfit. Capable of playing as a right winger as well, Odriozola turns 22 in December.

It is said that the Los Blancos have been tracking the youngster’s progress since quite sometime now and were looking at him even before he made his debut in January this year.

While Real already have two two right-backs, a lot will hinge on how Achraf Hakimi does till the end of the season, with Dani Carvajal coming close to first team action again.

Odriozola currently has a big  40 million release clause in his current contract and it won’t be too big a problem for Real to activate if, they do ahead with the move.
