Why Borini rejected China move in January

AC Milan forward Fabio Borini rejected a move to China in January because of his wage demands and how much the club were offering.

Borini was heavily linked with a move away from the rossoneri and Chinese club Shenzhen made an offer to sign the Italian too last month. A report from Calciomercato states that he was offered a wage of 5 million euros over 3 seasons.

This made sure that Borini decided against leaving the club.
