Why Juve pulled the plug on Boateng agreement

03 September at 13:00
As reported by today's edition of Tuttosport, Juventus had reached an agreement with Bayern Munich and Boateng for a season-long loan, following the injury of Chiellini. However, then they pulled the plug.

The Bianconeri evaluated the situation and decided that the signing wasn't needed, putting their confidence in Rugani. The latter was heavily linked with a move to Roma, but ended up staying after all.
