"The goal of last season was to qualify for the Champions League, unfortunately, our path ended with the match against PSV. However, that doesn't mean that we don't have other goals to reach.

Zanetti also addressed the rumours linking Icardi with a transfer next summer, urging the fellow Argentinian to stay at the San Siro. 

 

"Icardi? His contribution is always very important. I hope he can stay here for many years and become a legend in the history of Inter. The Chinese fans? Every time we arrive in China, there are many fans waiting for us at the airport, I thank them for their support," he concluded.
