Cristiano Ronaldo is compared to other top footballers, either current or former, on a daily basis and the most common comparison, besides that with Lionel Messi, is with the Brazilian Ronaldo. Two former Italian legends, Dino Zoff and Giancarlo Antognoni, spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport and shared their opinion on the matter.

"I think they are almost on par, but if I have to choose, it would be Cristiano Ronaldo. He is more consistent and generous with the team," Zoff said.

"The phenomenon [Brazilian Ronaldo] stole more eyes and was impressive, but Cristiano is more consistent," Antognoni seconded.
