£79m price tag slapped on Barcelona target
The young winger was eyed by the Spanish giants last summer when Dembele was at French side Rennes, but he opted to sign for Dortmund instead.
During his time in the Bundesliga, the 20—year-old scored an impressive 10 goals and racked up 21 assists in his 49 appearances for the German club.
The Frenchman is still on Barca’s radar, and is reportedly keen on the idea of joining them, having allegedly told his club of his desire to leave for Catalan side.
News has now filtered through stating that Dortmund are attempting to ward off any potential signing from Barcelona by slapping on a £79m price tag.
