Milan: Mexes pens new deal. Juve: Marrone has left

As reported in the last days, AC Milan won’t sign again 33-year-old center back Philippe Mexes –whose contract has recently expired- if they won’t yield same-aged Alex, and now the situation seems more clear: the Frenchman has in fact signed a one-year deal with the rossoneri and, as reported by calciomercato.com, will earn between 1,6 and 1,8 million euros; the player will rejoin his team mates next Saturday; on the other hand, the Lombardian club, according to Globoesporte, have offered again the Brazilian to Santos; in any case, still regarding their team’s defense, Milan will try to sign a new player, and, as reported earlier today, are keen on AS Roma 20-year-old Alessio Romagnoli, while, on the contrary, they will have to renounce to Borussia Dortmund 26-year-old Mats Hummels: the Germany international has in fact told the Guardian that he won’t leave his current club. The rossoneri are also seeking a midfielder, even though they have announced today the signing of 19-year-old Jose Mauri, last season at Parma: as well known, the Lombardian club is interested in Sampdoria 24-year-old Roberto Soriano, for whom –as outlined by calciomercato.com- also Napoli have made an attempt.
Serie A defending champions Juventus are also working to yield some of their players, and today have announced to have loaned 25-year-old midfielder Luca Marrone to Carpi.
