AC Milan coach Montella: "Gonzalo Higuain is a phenomenon"

"We played on par with Juventus, we could have scored first too. Higuain made the difference who invented two goals, Milan played really well for 70 minutes then I took off a few quality players and our performance dropped. In total we created just as many chances as Juventus but they have many players who can decide the match. My compliments to Juventus."
"We are a restructured team but aside from lazio we have always played on par with the big teams, as we did today. We did well against Inter and Roma but it is a tiny consolation. We need to be more cynical" Montella continued.
"Higuain scored two fantastic goals, he is a phenomenon. Sometimes you must pay compliments to your opponents. My compliments to him. We hit the crossbar and we have another big chance in the second half and well everyone cannot be like Higuain."
In conclusion Montella spoke about Lucas Biglia's difficulties since joining Milan and why he chose Biglia ahead of Montolivo stating: "It was a choice I made, like many others. Montolivo is a great player who is coming back after an injury. I expect to find motivation in the players to win the next two matches."
