AC Milan: Montella denies argument with Mirabelli

AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella is under the spotlight at the moment as the Italian has lost two of the opening six Serie A games this season. The Aeroplanino is reported to have had an argument with Mirabelli after the Sampdoria defeat but Montella denied reports during today’s press conference that was coverd by our reporter in Milan Daniele Longo.

“I am on very good terms with Massimiliano, an amazing relationship. We are always together and he doesn’t tell me what I have to do. We respect each other’s position. I spend more time with him than with my wife, he must cover his role, reports about an argument between us are fake.”

Fassone hit out at the team after the Sampdoria clash and Montella commented the claims of the club’s CEO: “They are in line with what happened. We analyzed the game at the Marassi and he told the press what we said in the locker room.”
