AC Milan offer €80m to sign Chelsea target

AC Milan have made an improved € 80 million bid to sign Torino star Andrea Belotti, according to reports in Italy. The 23-year-old is one of the rossoneri summer transfer priorities and he is also being shortlisted by Chelsea who are also looking for a new centre-forward.

Belotti has a € 100 million release clause included in his contract with Torino but that is only valid for clubs outside Serie A.

AC Milan, however, are still hopeful they can land the Italian making a bid close to the player’s release fee.

Turin-based papers Tuttosport and La Stampa confirm AC Milan have made an € 80 million move for the Italy star.

Tuttosport claim the offer is cash only, whilst La Stampa believe AC Milan have offered € 60 million plus Gabriel Paletta and M’Baye Niang, two transfer targets of Torino.
The granata have also set their sights on out of favour Napoli striker Duvan Zapata as they have already offered € 19 million to sign him.
