AC Milan player ratings from an embarrassing 3-0 shock

AC Milan player ratings

Donnarumma 5: The keeper failed to make any crucial saves, and caps off a disastrous week off the pitch with an equal performance on it.

Rodriguez 5:  Too shy in pushing forward and crossing. Flawed on the defensive side as well. Hellas’ Romulo gave him fits through the afternoon. He was taken off at half.

Bonucci 4.5: The awkward player from the start of the season returns. He was a spectator on all three Hellas tallies.

Romagnoli 4: He keeps repeating the same brain farts that have slowed down his growth. He left Moise Kean completely free on the second goal.

Calabria 5: He ran a lot, but to nowhere in particular.

Bonaventura 5: Milan got too little from the person supposed to be the technical leader for Gattuso.

Montolivo 5: He racked up the most touches of any Milan player, but was unable to do anything constructive with them.

Kessie 5: For a midfielder that fetched 28 million AC Milan expects much more.

Borini 4.5: Like the rest, he too succumbed to general mediocrity.

Kalinic 4.5:  A script already seen: many shots taken, zero shots on goal, and a lack of competitive nastiness.

Suso 4 : He failed to score on a sensational opportunity in the first half that could put his team back on track. He eventually took a stupid red card at 90+2 and will miss the next match.

Gattuso 4,5 : A point in Benevento, a humiliation in Verona. Maybe it wasn’t Montolivo’s fault after all.

SUBS:
Cutrone 5.5 : At least he always tries

Locatelli 5: His inclusion didn’t move the needle at all

Andre Silva 5: Didn’t have any affect on the game, and did nothing to dispel the “flop” rumors
