AC Milan, Sacchi praises Pioli despite sack of his 'pupil' Giampaolo

Several days ago Stefano Pioli replaced Marco Giampaolo on the AC Milan bench and the managerial exchange is still being discussed across Italian media and amongst football experts in the country. One of these is former Rossoneri coach Arrigo Sacchi who offered his view on the situation from the Festival dello Sport in Trento.

"Giampaolo is a good coach, whom I admire and like a lot but Pioli is good. I hope he can do well, I hope for the fate of Milan," he said.
