Rossoneri Sporting Director Massimiliano Mirabelli gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia before yesterday's Europe League clash against AEK Athens at the Olympic stadium speaking on a wide variety of topics.

"We know that we are going down a path, in my opinion no-one has a magic wand to wave. We are aware that we have built this team on young players, our goal was to build a squad on a solid foundation on whom we could create a new cycle on. Naturally, we were aware of the difficulties. We regret not being able to satisfy our fans, we have to remember that we are Milan" Mirabelli began.

The Milan Director was then asked about the future of Vincenzo Montella: "It is true that we all need time, however it is also right that Milan's fans experience some sense of satisfaction too, the same way they have made us feel from the second we set foot in Milano. We are sorry for them more than anything, but we have clear ideas as to what we want to do."

In conclusion Mirabelli was asked to comment on statements made by legendary AC Milan President Berlusconi to which he replied: "I don't have the authority to respond to Berlusconi who is still a huge fan of Milan and therefore he lives the way all Milan fans live, his mood is decided by the results. Whenever he speaks we take it as something positive."
