AC Milan: chance for Widmer. Inter: Morata farther
As reported yesterday, AC Milan seem to have definitively carried out the negotiation for 31 year old center back Alex, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire at the end of the seaosn; his teammate Marquinhos and his coach Laurent Blanc have declared last night that they are not aware of such solution, and the former France international has expressed the wish to keep his defender: as explained by calciomercato.com transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Brazil international is very well in Paris, but is not happy with the renewal’s offer received by his current club. The Lombard club is also seeking a right back, and one of its targets for such position is Udinese 20 year old Silvan Widmer: interviewed by calciomercato.com, Fredy Strasser, agent of the Switzerland international, has declared that his client has been tracked in the past by Inter Milan and that for the moment there is nothing going on with the rossoneri, even if they could be an option for his future. Perhaps, the two Milanese clubs seem ready to compete for two midfielder, Chelsea 26 year old John Obi Mikel and –according to infoticker.ch- Napoli 29 year old Gokhan Inler. The nerazzurri’s priority remains in any case the signing of a new forward, but to obtain one of their main targets for such position, Real Madrid 21 year old Alvaro Morata, they will have to compete with Wolfsburg.
