Adriano Galliani insists Ibrahimovic is ‘too expensive’ for AC Milan

AC Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani has released an interview with Il Corriere della Sera sharing his thoughts on the club’s future strategies.

“I like the project to build a new team with young, Italian players. For a football director there is nothing better than seeing your pupils growing until the get a national team call up.”

“There are seven players coming from our academy who are playing in our senior team: Donnarumma, Abatem De Sciglio, Calabria, Antonelli and very soon Locatelli. No Serie A club have more than us.”

“Players like Ibrahimovic are too expensive for Italian clubs, they have a very high salary. The Serie A used to be the best league in the world, now players move to other leagues after playing in Italy.”
