It has been an important week of incoming transfers for the Old Lady. Deals were finalized for Sczcesny, Douglas Costa, De Sciglio, and Bernardeschi. From the goal to the attack, but left with a hole in the middle, Beppe Marotta and Juve leaders need to get active in their search for a central midfielder. With Tolisso having already gone to Bayern, Verratti staying in Paris, and question marks surrounding an agreement for N’Zonzi and Sevilla weeks ago; Juve have to work extra hard to find the right man to improve their squad without breaking the bank.

Attention now turns to Emre Can, the Liverpool midfielder who is out of contract next summer. The Scudetto winners, according to reports out of England via The Sun, are attempting to lure the German international away from the Premier League and into Serie A. Can will be late to join his teammates in preseason training after an extended break due to Confederations Cup commitments, and Juve will use this time to try to convince the talented midfielder to switch allegiances.
