Agent: Fiorentina signing Maganjic 'is the new Savicevic'
Josip Maganjic is one of the Viola’s summer signings, but fans were right to be sceptical, seeing as he comes from Hajduk Split and is only 17 years old.
“Maganjic? Corvino was clever to bring him to Florence,” Tomislav Erceg - who also represents Nikola Kalinic - told local station Radio Blu, “a lot of Italian teams were after him, but English ones too. Corvino had, however, already sealed the deal.
“He can become a great player. He’s like Dejan Savicevic. He’s the best Croatian player of the class of 1999”.
