Agent of Roma, Inter target: 'He can leave Barcelona in January'

The father-agent of Rafinha has revealed that the player could be set to leave Barcelona in the January transfer window, with Inter Milan and Roma interested in signing him.

Rafinha was impressive for the nerazzurri in his loan spell at the club since last January. He returned to Barcelona this past summer and was close to Inter, but financial disagreements saw the deal fall through. On deadline day, a move to Real Betis fell through as well.

Rafinha's father-agent Mazinho, was recently talking to Corriere dello Sport about his client's future and he revealed that the Inter and Roma target could leave Barca in January.

He said: "The manager has his ideas, but it is inexplicable that Rafinha does not play because, when he had the opportunity to do so, he played three spectacular consecutive games.

"But football is this, we are in an excellent club. But it is clear that the goal is to play continuously and this, at the moment, does not seem possible here. We do not discard anything, not even leaving Barcelona in January. An ideal situation will be needed for all the parties involved."
