Allegri and Buffon not worried about injuries to key players ahead of Bayern clash

Massimiliano Allegri and Gianluigi Buffon are not worried about the absences of Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio and Paulo Dybala for tomorrow’s crucial Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

The Old Lady will face the Bundesliga defending champions at their home ground Allianz Arena after holding them to a 2-2 draw two weeks ago at the J Stadium.

“We have to have a better impact on the game”, Gigi Buffon told journalist during a classic pre-match press conference.

“We should be less nervous as well as having less fear. I think that top clubs can rely on 23, 24 or 25 starters. Mentality and harmony can make the difference and I believe tomorrow it’s the right day to prove it.”

“The trophies they have been winning over the last five years prove they are the stronger than us, but we came back from two goals down in the first leg game, doing something not many teams would have done. That’s where we have to start from. We have to believe we can beat them.”

We don’t have to think. We have to do”, Allegri added.

“We can deal with absences because we have many players. It doesn’t matter who plays, what really matters is how they play. The quality of our players will give us a small advantage tomorrow.”

“I am still not sure if Mandzukic will play or not. He’s fit, today he’s trained with the rest of the group.”
“Tomorrow we’ll have to play a great game against one of the best three teams in Europe. Morata’s recapturing his form and it would have been difficult for me to bench him tomorrow.”

“I have yet to decide the system, but I’ve preferred not to risk Dybala.”

“Tomorrow’s game will be very different from the first one we played against them, we are due a big performance tomorrow  and it is a pity one team will be eliminated.”

    “Let’s hope it’ll be them.”
