Allegri announces : 'I will stay on at Juve to win the Champions league'
" I am really pleased by what my team accomplished this season. We came here in Cardiff to win the cup but we came up short. We started off this game very well and created chances but we lacked finishing at times. In the second half we struggled a bit and we did have a few lads playing with knocks too. After the 2-1 goal, we really did let go a little bit mentally speaking. We had to keep on fighting but Real really then took advantage of the fact that we were rattled. We will have to grow mentally speaking next season if we want to win a UCL title. Real Madrid are a world class team and they played a perfect second half. If we would've played like we did in the first half for the entire 90 minutes, then yes we would've had a great chance. We will have to learn from this to come back stronger. Our goal next season is to win the Serie A title and to put in a great effort in the UCL".
