Allegri: 'Juve will choose a great coach; Berlusconi wants me at Monza!'

Massimiliano Allegri has today officially announced his Juventus departure and it didn't take long until Italian journalist Valerio Staffelli, of the show Striscia La Notizia, met with Allegri to present the manager with the Golden Tapir; an award commonly given out by Staffelli on the show to people of interest in Italy who have been ridiculed or mocked by recent events or the media.

Speaking to Staffelli, Allegri said that "Juve is a great club, it will choose a great coach," before adding that "It took five years to make Juventus! That's it, life goes, comes, goes ... Where shall I go? Home. Then I will go out to sea for a bit, it's wonderful. Five years for me is a lot! Berlusconi called me to Monza? Yes, really!"

Juventus will now search for a new head coach to help reshuffle the side ahead of next season, as the Bianconeri look to put up a stronger challenge for the Champions League.
