“We won against a solid team, they are the less beaten defence in Spain and they are very organized. We suffered a bit in the first half and we did better in the second one. Globally, I think we should have done more attacking actions but Ronaldo is giving us more self-confidence.”
The Italian did also speak in a post-match press conference: “The Champions League is not my competition. It could be if the lads lift the cup at the end of the season. We have qualified for the last-16 stage, we have a chance to win the group stage even if the draw can be surprising. We can be drawn with a top team even if we win the group.”
“Mandzukic? He has a great understanding of Dybala and Ronaldo. Football is made of alchemy and, luckily, we have that in every part of the pitch.”
