Ancelotti: 'It takes a miracle to beat Juventus'

Interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport, Carlo Ancelotti spoke about his situation at Napoli, about future choices and much more.

"The most important thing in modern football is not the physical aspect, but intelligence, after, of course, there is the genetics, the talent. It is a combination. I do not give much weight to the size. Slow players, for example, continue to play football, because everyone can play it. My idea of football is dominated by technical and tactical intelligence," he said.

"Intolerance on Italian stadiums? One thing are funny choirs and banners, the other hate demonstrations and demonization of cities, skin colour, religious beliefs. There are rules to be respected and if there are those chants, procedures must be implemented to suspend games. People need to understand that it is serious.

"Objectives? We have plenty of potential and we showed it in the Champions League in a difficult group, we have the best midfield in Italy. Juventus unreachable? No, Juve is very strong, but are not unattainable. Of course, to keep up, you have to work miracles.

"The national team? I had the chance to coach it months ago, but I told them that I wanted to train a club. I do not think about the national team now, I like being here every day, I do not like to train three times a month," Ancelotti concluded.
