    Antoine Griezmann named best French abroad

    Ligue1 players have voted Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann the best French footballer playing abroad this season. Being the first edition of the award, Griezmann is the first Frenchman to receive this prize.

    Paul Pogba and Karim Benzema have finished second and third respectively, whilst Dimitri Payet has been voted as the fourth best  French abroad.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been voted as the best Ligue1 player of the season and Marco Verratti has been included in the team of the year alongside lot of his PSG teammates.
