Antonio Conte hints at fourth Chelsea summer signing

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has released an interview with the Mail Online. The Italian had an impressive debut season with Chelsea last term and he now wants to continue his path with the Premier League champions.

The former Juventus boss talked about several issues, focusing on Chelsea’s summer transfer activity as well. The Blues have already signed the likes of Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero but Conte believes some more new faces could arrive in South West London.

“In Singapore, Rudiger and Morata will arrive, maybe someone else”, Conte said.

“I know very well that the club is working strong, very hard to try to make me the best way to work.”

“After a tough season, it’s very important always to look back, to see the season and then to understand very well. It was very important for me because it was my first season in England, a new country without my family, and it was important to understand my situation in all aspects. For sure, I enjoyed the season in England and with Chelsea. But I must be honest, it was very tough for me and for my family. Sometimes when you win, you think that everything is easy, but it wasn’t to win and to have this type of season."

"Now I have decided with the club to continue our path. We found the right view about the future of this club. I repeat, we are a great club but we are in a moment where we can’t make a mistake because it’s very dangerous. We don’t have a lot of space to make mistakes. We need to improve and increase our squad to be something important for the present, and also for our future.”
