Arsenal keen to wrap up Lemar deal following completed move of Lacazette

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger doesn’t want to rest on his laurels following the £52m signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon on Wednesday.

Now the Gunner boss is looking to wrap up a deal with Thomas Lemar of Monaco, having been reportedly keen on the services of the 21-year-old for several weeks now.
The local news outlet The London Evening Standard are suggesting that Wenger looks set to take action for a second time by ensuring that his ‘French raid’ will be complete sooner rather than later.

French international Lemar helped this club Monaco claim a surprise title victory of Ligue 1 last season, with a decent run in the Champions League to boot.

Monaco have been linked to various transfers – most of which are going outwards – but if the offer from Arsenal is the right one, unlike their previous bid of £30m which was rejected by the club, then they can look forward to a new season with fresh new faces in attack.
