Arsenal, Man Utd target hints at BVB exit

Manchester United and Arsenal are monitoring Marco Reus very carefully, despite his injury.

The Borussia Dortmund star was expected to join Bayern Munich a few seasons ago, and is still considered to be one of Europe’s most promising midfielders, despite his setback.

According to the Bild, both Arsenal and Man United want to sign Reus next summer. The 27-year-old dropped a big ol’ hint recently in an interview with GQ.
‘There are four or five international clubs who interest me,’ he said.

‘On May 31 next year, I will turn 30. That would be my last big contract and a final opportunity to try something different.

‘I have to be honest and fair and say I don’t know where I’ll end up. At the moment, I’m very happy in Dortmund and not thinking about what happens after 2019. ‘But, of course, the time will come and then I will sit down and calmly make a decision.’

Reus has been a major star at the Signal Iduna Stadion, but went down with a ligament tear in last year’s DFB-Pokal final, and has struggled to recover.
