Arsenal meet with Lyon over Man United, Liverpool target

Arsenal are set to chase a striker this summer, and the name of Alexandre Lacazette is prominent.

So prominent, in fact, that Coach Wenger has met with Lyon about the striker already. He’s also been targeted by Manchester United and Liverpool, while recent reports indicated that he had reached a deal with Atletico Madrid.

Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis are reported by the Mirror to have met with Jean-Michel Aulas, Lyon’s president, to discuss the transfer.

Wenger and Gazidis were in Nice, where Wenger is known to have been last weekend, though reports indicated that he was in the South of France to talk to Monaco, his former club, too.

Arsenal were linked to Kylian M’Bappe, too, but with Alexis Sanchez on his way out and Olivier Giroud failing to impress, the Gunners are being linked to a striker.

The 25-year-old Lacazette has scored a preposterous amount of goals this season, scoring 37 goals in all competitions for OL this season.
