Arsenal prepare third bid for Thomas Lemar - this time £45m

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing a third attempted bid of Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar – a bid of £45m with the possibility of rising to £50m, according to the Daily Mail.

This comes after the Gunners broke their transfer record when they acquired the services of French international Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a fee of £52m plus add-ons.

The North London club have had their eye on Lemar for time and already fired out two failed bids to land the 21-year-old.

Arsenal were hopeful of Kylian Mbappe, and even created a budget to bring the wonder-kid to the Emirates. But it looks as though the Monaco forward will either stay at his club or join up with reigning Champions league and La Liga winners Real Madrid.

This has left Arsenal in pocket, and well equipped to launch a large bid to ensure that they get their man in the highly-rated Frenchman Lemar.
