Arsenal’s first signing could be announced before new manager

Arsenal could announce their first signing in the coming hours, reports in England claim
The Gunners seem to be close to signing Borussia Dortmund star Sokratis Papastathopoulos who has also been linked with a move to AC Milan.

Although Arsenal’s new manager has yet to be announced, the Gunners could sign Sokratis before a replacement for Wenger is appointed.

Guardiola’s Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta is reportedly leading the race to take over at Arsenal.
