Arsenal star could be ‘big signing for Juve’, says Pirlo

According to what was reported by Rai Sport yesterday, Juventus have all-but agreed a deal in principle to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaaron Ramsey when his contract with the English giants expires in the summer of 2019.

This has sparked much discussion about how the Welshman would fit in at Juventus, with many commenting on the deal - including Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo.

Pirlo, speaking to Sky Sport, said that "Ramsey is a great purchase - Juventus are preparing another great operation." Pirlo then added that "he is a strong player and could do vey well."

Ramsey's contract expires during the summer after he failed to come to an agreement with Arsenal about a new deal. It is thought that Ramsey's demands were too great for the Gunners to consider, with the Welshman asking for a similar pay package to that of German playmaker Mesut Ozil.

Time will tell now as to whether or not Ramsey moves to Italy but, if Juventus manage to secure his signing, the Old Lady will have defeated competition from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan.
