AS Roma are looking for a new right-back available in the market and AC Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio is definitely one of those on top of Sabatini’s wish-list. Trouble is, the rossoneri want € 25 million at least, a sum that the giallorossi are not willing to invest.

However, with Vincenzo Montella who is desperate to sign a new playmaker, the two clubs could consider a swap deal involving De Sciglio and Leandro Paredes.

The Argentinean midfielder is on very good terms with Luciano Spalletti having impressed in place of Daniele De Rossi in pre-season matches.

Man Utd’s Matteo Darmian is another realistic option for AS Roma alongside Manquillo and Widmer. Meantime Sabatini has had a new meeting with Diawara’s agent, but the Guinean midfielder would only arrive if Paredes leaves.
